About Us

We are Marga and María, Spanish teachers with over 15 years of experience teaching students from all over the world. We created The Spanish Club to offer a friendly, modern and motivating space where learning Spanish becomes a shared commitment between the student and us.

We believe in practical, communicative learning tailored to each student. That’s why every class is different. Your level, your interests and your goals set the course.

At The Spanish Club, we started with a simple but powerful idea: to create a space where learning Spanish is an accessible, human and truly motivating experience.

After years of teaching in very diverse contexts and with students from cultures all over the world, we understood something fundamental: the connection between teacher and student is what transforms learning.

I am a student at Mississippi College, and I made the decision this semester to pursue a minor in Spanish. Marga had the unique (and very appreciated!) ability to tailor the course in a way that challenged me but also gave me greater confidence in my Spanish abilities, both in speaking and in writing. She was never too in a hurry to answer my questions, and she always answered my questions patiently and thoroughly. Marga is so knowledgeable, but is also kind and encouraging. She was organized and always had a clear plan for lessons. She helped build my abilities gradually, finding a good balance between testing past skills and introducing new ones. Marga also provided so many amazing resources for continued learning.
